The Nutmeg Volunteer Junior Ancient Fife & Drum Corps is an award-winning youth musical organization from Groton, CT, performing throughout New England and New York the music of the Revolutionary, Civil Wars, and Modern Fife and Drum eras. The corps celebrated their 75th Anniversary in 2023, and is the second oldest active junior fife & drum corps in the United States.

Our Muster

Nutmeg traditionally holds their muster at Fort Griswold State Park in Groton, CT the Saturday of Labor Day Weekend.

250th Celebration

Nutmeg and the North Stonington Historical Society will co-host "Celebrate America's 250th" on June 27, 2026, with a parade, muster, vendors, and demonstrations.
